june 29 - july 11, 2004: plein air painting in aubeterre sur dronne, in the south west of france
first project; find a scene in the town and paint a monochromatic study
drove to an open corn field with a small house
here i am again, self portrait with my painting
i loved the design of the wheat and corn fields
other people faced the trees and the town
late in the day, great shadows.
 
the hay rolls are so playful and fun!
wonderful dark river bank. i later canoed this!
my friend Joel took this; i never heard him
my river scene. a departure for me
views of the bridge, the river or the nearby poplar grove.
i like seeing everyone's paintings together!
our first sunflower field! and wonderful rooftop
took 2 days of painting at this location since we
were attacked by a rain storm the first day! this is day 2
day 1. artists lined up under the big tree
