I began working
at Yahoo! on October 2, 2000. I am one of only three illustrator's, and the Design Manager of Illustration, working
for the company. Together we create the icons and illustrations
for the entire site. There are definitely unique challenges to illustrating
for the web; file size and color used to be a main concern and now
due to smaller sized images and different media platforms (mobile
phones and hand-held devices) legibility has become a bigger issue.
Each day is different and that keeps me interested and challenged
in my work. The people here are interesting, supportive and engaged
in life which makes for an atmosphere where people can thrive! I've
been very fortunate to be apart of Yahoo!'s history and of course
future. Below are a few samples of the work I've done for Yahoo!
